Pellegrino’s has rounded up all of the usual suspects to create one of the most balanced Italian menus on Mulberry Street. The standbys include homemade gnocchi, mushroom risotto, penne alla vodka and veal saltimbocca. For a little more adventure, try homegrown concoctions like linguine alla Sinatra (with shrimp, clams, lobster and mussels) or zuppa di vongole filled with plum clams. During the summer the restaurant is a great choice for al fresco dining.
