THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Peppino's Italian Restaurant Restaurant Review

: You may scratch your head and wonder if you’re in an Asian restaurant. After all, there are meal packages (mostly pastas and salads) that you order by the number just like at many Chinese restaurants. But, no, this is the very Italian Peppino’s. If you’re going for a full meal and not just a pasta and salad package, for an appetizer, try the portobello mushroom stuffed with a creamy Cognac sauce and red roasted peppers. There’s an array of entrée choices, from seafood to chicken to sautéed veal, which is the most popular item. The lasagna is homemade, a tray at a time, with a mixture of beef, four different cheeses and a marinara sauce. The Calamari Luciana is squid sautéed with black olives, Burgundy and a marinara sauce over a bed of linguine. Leave room for dessert, particularly the tiramisu cake (ladyfingers dipped in coffee liqueur, rolled with cheese and spread with cream and shredded dark chocolate). An array of pizzas are available for takeout only.
