THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Philadelphia Fish & Company Restaurant Review

: Kevin and Janet Meeker quietly serve some of the freshest and best seafood in town. The interior is a relaxing blend of blond woods, mirrors and comfy banquettes. Many of the offerings meet the requirements of a heart-healthy diet, such as fresh regional seafood, shrimp and steamed littleneck clams, but you'll also find such creative dishes as chef Justin Rambo Garwood’s yellowfin tuna tartare paired with raspberries, mint and fresh horseradish with a pomegranate reduction, and grilled butterfish with truffled lentils and red verjus sauce. The bar serves a separate menu that changes daily.

Philadelphia Fish & Co - "I'm sorry we are out of..

This is the WORST of Philadelphia not the best as they say on their Website. I took a VERY important client there for lunch. I usually go to a very well known steak house for lunch, Smith and Wolensky but my client wanted seafood...BIG MISTAKE choosing the Philadelphia Fish at 2nd and Chestnut. The server was wonderful woman named Mary Ann. Mary Ann should think about a different place of employment because I cannot see this place being in business too much longer. THREE times our server came back to tell us they were out of something that was on the menu. She looked more embarrassed each time. Once we finally got whatever they had LEFT it was mediocre at best. I could have taken him to Arthur Treachers Fish and Chips and had just as good fish. I would never spend the time to review a restaurant unless it almost cost me a client like this one did. I had to apologize to a man who is going to pay my firm over a million dollars in the next three years about MY choice in restaurants.
