Photo Bistro Restaurant Review:

Photo Bistro consistently serves the best food among the various French bistros in Mexico City. Indeed, it’s so reliable that owners of other restaurants eat here. Decorated with wood and polished brass, as its name indicates, the walls are adorned with a varying exhibition of photographs. Despite the tightly packed tables, it has an intimate feeling, except on weekends when it tends to be full. Even then, the service is friendly and professional. Among the most popular offerings are the appetizer of assorted pâtés, the mussels in white wine, the robalo (sea bass) in lemon sauce and the endive salad in Roquefort dressing. They also make what are far and wide the best french fries in the city. There’s a full bar and a decent, although not extensive, list of wines from Europe and South America.
