BLT Steak Restaurant Review:

Meats are carefully chosen and sometimes exceptional at this Midtown East steakhouse, like the rare Kobe beef. On ebony tables set along chocolate brown walls, there's a little bit of everything for moderate carnivores, including a grilled tuna or a sautéed Dover sole. Appetizers are straightforward and include shrimp cocktail, crab and even a complete seafood platter. But the core of the action will be sought among twelve meat dishes that will be cooked, of course, to your liking. You name it: steaks, ribs, filet, rack of lamb, duck and chicken---twelve options altogether. Potato sides come in whatever preparation you wish, at least in six ways with eleven sauces, from béarnaise to soy-citrus. BLT Steak boasts an unusual and very extensive wine list with 600 offerings totaling 10,000 bottles. Seventeen wines are presented by the glass, all managed by sommelier Fred Dexheimer.
