Bombay Grill Restaurant Review:

Bombay Grill is old-world comfortable with heavy, dark walnut woodwork and brass railings. Its historic setting, a 1901 hotel building where Teddy Roosevelt, Will Rogers and Clarence Darrow lodged, is a cornerstone of downtown Boise. A well-balanced menu emphasizes traditional Indian dishes, particularly tandoori and curry specialties featuring chicken, lamb and shrimp. There's also an extensive selection of vegetarian offerings. The lunch buffet attracts a large business crowd from downtown offices. But it’s not the food alone that draws the bustle: the restaurant sits half a level up from the street so watching passersby can be a private diversion. For libations, there's a small wine list with beer also available; service is skilled and unobtrusive.
