Bootleggers Old Town Tavern & Grill Restaurant Review:

Housed in a nineteenth-century building that was once Auburn's city hall, Bootleggers is truly an eclectic restaurant. Décor has a decidedly European opulence, and although the dining room is upscale, it is accessible to all and welcoming to families. The menu follows suit with a mix of traditional American fare alongside dishes with international appeal. Starters include oysters on the half shell, sweet potato fries, escargots and macaroni and cheese. Mains include Korean skirt steak, a bacon-wrapped filet, Israeli couscous and fried chicken. Choose from more than 60 beers to accompany the hearty cuisine, one of the largest selections of European beers --- especially Belgian ales --- in the area.
