The Lattanzi family dishes out earthy, uncomplicated Northern Italian food in a cozy dining room with brick and ochre walls. For appetizers, we like the sautéed portobello mushrooms in garlic and oil or the eggplant Parmigiana stuffed with zucchini with tomato sauce and a mozzarella topping. Pastas might include a lusty pappardelle carciofi e funghi (tomato, artichokes and mushroom sauce) or the rigatoni with broccoli rabe, sausage, white beans, garlic and olive oil. For something more substantial, go for one of the several veal dishes or the grilled steak. The wine list features mostly Italian selections.
