Fascino Restaurant Review:
In Italian, "fascino" means charm, glamour, fascination --- the perfect description for this softly lit, simply decorated BYO. Chef Ryan DePersio, who worked at New York's Bouley Bakery, Vong and Jean-Georges, uses tantalizing flavors in ingenious ways. Pasta, made fresh every day, is especially good; we recommend the ramp casarecce with crispy duck confit, morel crema and shaved goat cheese. Consider as well a side of mascarpone polenta fries with Gorgonzola fonduta. Dishes arrive at the table in big white crockery bowls napped in any of varied sauces. There is also an appealing vegetarian menu with thoughtful, intelligently crafted plates. Service is professional and very friendly.
