Greenwich Project Restaurant Review:

From the people who brought you Mulberry Project, a bespoke cocktail bar and small plates eatery, comes another “project”: Greenwich Project, named for the neighborhood in which it resides. The bi-level space consists of a bar on the ground floor (with some tables for dining) and a more elegant and much quieter dining room up top. Cocktails, despite the restaurant’s pedigree, can be hit or miss. A wiser choice is to stick to wine; there are a few nice selections by the glass. The food is similarly hit or miss, but if you order well you can eat very well indeed. The “Odd Couple,” a stew of offal, garlic, snails and bacon, is hearty and a recommended starter; for something lighter, go for the refreshing fluke crudo. A huge rib-eye and flaky Moroccan-spiced salmon with eggplant chutney are also possibilities. The salted caramel donut will end your meal on a sweet note.
