About the restaurant & décor: Nestled quite comfortably in Royal Sonesta Chicago Riverfront, this sun-drenched New American restaurant is decked in modern, creamy leather and dark wood seating and hip glass pendant lighting, with gracious sidewalk and Chicago River views.
Likes: Hoyt's boasts an enviable front seat to the Chicago River bend.
Dislikes: With the exception of the patio, Hoyt's feels a little too formal and businesslike.
Food & Drinks: The menu is rooted in familiar ingredients, with just enough variation to feel fresh. Find classic burgers, from white cheddar to venison, flatbreads, salads and larger entrées such as steak and salmon. Grab a stool at the long bar for craft beers, American-made wines and house artisan cocktails.
