Hungarian Rhapsody Restaurant Review:

Authentic Hungarian fare is served in a setting awash with artifacts from the Old Country, ranging from lavishly embroidered handicrafts and porcelain pieces to red pepper garlands. Steve and Darlene Szatmari know their chicken or veal paprika with house-made dumplings, stuffed cabbage and goulash well. And you'll enjoy it all in friendly fashion in the big dining room. There are American dishes on the menu as well, such as beef medallions in Madeira sauce with foie gras. On Friday and Saturday nights, try the Hungarian combination plate with chicken paprika, stuffed cabbage and breaded pork chops. All entrées include salad, vegetable, and bread and butter. For dessert, there are Hungarian-style crêpes and a napoleon of cream wrapped in light, flaky pastry. That said, we enjoy the walnut torte and fruit strudels, too.
