Maggiano's Little Italy

Maggiano's Little Italy Restaurant Review:

Maggiano's sizeable dining rooms are lined with scores of black-and-white photos of Little Italy, while the menu, with pasta as its centerpiece, features large family-size portions, although a separate menu caters to the solo diner. We prefer the pasta and veal dishes to seafood, although the seafood linguine was quite good, as is the calamari. However, the fresh tilapia over spinach-and-pea-studded orzo tasted earthy. The veal porterhouse is a winner. Offered in small versions, desserts include tiramisu that holds its own. Decent, reasonably priced wines form the short list, although better choices by the glass would be a real service improvement. A gluten-free menu is available.
