Ming Court Restaurant Review:

A respite from busy International Drive, Ming Court has been a mainstay for decades in the heart of Orlando’s tourist country. Judging from the authentic Ming Dynasty architecture, flowering Asian gardens and koi ponds, one would expect an authentic dining experience. The traditional menu has Chinese favorites such as jumbo shrimp and honey-glazed walnuts, Cantonese-style stir-fried lobster, Florida orange beef and ma po tofu, but also unusual creations like steamed fresh bacon with dried mustard cabbage and braised sea cucumber. For something more regal, try the roast Peking duck served in two courses: first, sliced breast with crispy skin wrapped in pancakes with scallions and hoisin sauce, then stir-fried duck with vegetables. For lunch, don't miss one of the only dim sum restaurants in the area featuring favorites like shrimp ha gow dumplings to siu mei pork dumplings. The pristine sushi bar is always busy. Ming Court is located next to the Orange County Convention Center and across from Pointe Orlando.
