Owner Vijay Khosla has found a formula that seems to be working: focusing attention on good food and professional service, while keeping the surroundings modest --- with the resulting savings passed on to the customer. Along with a full slate of tandoori items and the traditional lamb, chicken and vegetable offerings featured in most Northern Indian restaurants, Khosla prepares a number of fresh seafood dishes, such as the spicy Goan fish curry with chili and garlic and shrimp tikka masala with a tomato cream and fenugreek sauce. Accompany your meal with basmati rice with sautéed lamb, goat meat or a mélange of peas, nuts and raisins. Lunch and the Sunday Champagne brunch are lavish buffets, with a dozen or so items available.
