P.S. Bangkok Restaurant Review:

A mind-boggling menu and lavish decorations that have become increasingly ornate over the years set this deep storefront apart from other Thai restaurants. While mainstays like pad thai, chicken satay and close to two-dozen curries fare well, it’s fun to go exploring. Banana blossom salad with chicken and steamed shrimp in a sweet-spicy-tart dressing, lychee fried rice and a special snapper filet with white pepper and garlic are among the many winners. There are some losers, of course --- skip elaborate shellfish preparations and the duck. For an extra buck, brown rice is available. Variations on Thai custard (say, with taro) and mango with sticky rice (in season) are top desserts. If you want to have it all, come for Sunday brunch: you can gorge on more than 100 items for a song.
