Tin Angel Restaurant Review:

Having charmed Nashvillians and visitors alike since 1993, Tin Angel occupies one of the few remaining historical landmark buildings on West End Avenue. Carefully restored by owners Vicki and Rick Bolsom, the restaurant depends for its ambience at least partly on brick walls and floors, a freestanding salvaged brick fireplace and period tin ceilings. Guests come for chef Donald Main's globe-trotting cuisine, such as duck egg rolls or cioppino to start with entrées of Moroccan-spiced pork chop with preserved lemon and couscous to steak frites Diane. For a lighter bite, the menu has long offered a favorite "Med Salad" as an entrée with grilled shrimp nestled among chickpeas, artichokes, olives, feta and sun-dried tomato dressing. There’s a respectable wine list with many good new-world selections in the $20-$40 range. For dessert, the crème brûlée is hard to resist.
