The space may be tiny but the burgers definitely aren't---Phyllis' serves up some of the biggest burgers around. Hand-formed and cooked to order, burgers are served classic or topped with teriyaki, pesto, Cajun or barbecue sauce. The signature Bordenave is a worthy splurge: a giant beef patty on a sourdough roll with sautéed onions, Dijon mustard and choice of cheese---even tastier with mushrooms. House-made onion rings and fries, shakes and malts, chicken sandwiches and hot turkey subs are also on the menu, as well as low-fat turkey burgers, chicken and veggie burgers.
