Great Wine List* Click here for rating key
Cherry Creek is swimming with upscale places to eat, but few provide the bang for the buck of this south Italian oasis. Grab a table inside the warm confines---the spacious room is decked-out in dark woods and terra cotta colors---and you'll find consistent Italian fare that delivers the goods. The antipasti menu gets things started nicely with crunchy-crusted bruschetta, a mixed stir-fry of shrimp and calamari or a plate of spinach sautéed in lemon juice. Salads are delicately dressed and blessed with a choice of toppings, from poached salmon to roasted mushrooms and more. Lunch crowds of shoppers and dressed-up after-five diners go for plates of pasta, everything from wallet-size ravioli to tubes of rigatoni and swirls of delicious red-sauced spaghetti. We like to school up on seafood with the cioppino (one of the best in town) or dive in with the roasted salmon. An all-Italian wine list features 40 by-the-glass selections and a fun wine-sampling menu. |
