This tiny, cheerful place serves up some of the best tacos in San Diego County, as well as other authentically prepared south-of-the-border specialties---not to mention terrific huge margaritas. Fillings for the nine types of tacos---only $2.50 each à la carte---range from spicy sautéed vegetables and chopped cactus leaves to carne asada with guacamole, and pork broiled al pastor. Other menu items include enjoyable torta sandwiches, chiles rellenos, and robust chicken enchiladas available in a variety of sauces. Everything’s reasonably filling and more than reasonably tasty.
