Piero's Restaurant Review

: There’s something to be said for preserving tradition and consistency in service and cuisine, and Piero's delivers just that, offering old-world-style Italian fare in an unembellished setting. In a word, the eatery's charm lies in its simplicity. Patrons frequenting this Port Chester trattoria wait patiently for their turn to be seated in the dining room. Appetizers include aromatic mussels sautéed in a marinara and garlic sauce, and sweet seasonal melon and thin-sliced prosciutto. Otherwise, go for a classic house-made gnocchi and veal medallions in a Marsala and mushroom sauce. The regional wine list of Italian red varietals pairs well with these classics.
