If you are looking for a restaurant to be a home away from home (a French home that is), go no further than this charming little bistro in Bella Vista, where the owner-chef shops each day and cooks what he buys with love and experience. David Ansill, a veteran of Lucy's Hat Shop and The Continental, has found his identity here: French, seasonal, and uncomplicated. Try the signature snails, any of the deceptively simple salads, and whatever the dish of the day may be. We had delicious skate and langoustine, but who knows what will show up the next time? There's a lovely cheese selection, and this estimable food deserves your best bottle of wine.
