| You’ll find pigs galore at this Upper East Side Chinese joint---both on the wall and on the plate. The walls of this cutesy and friendly eatery feature 150 little pink dancing pigs overlooking a large yellow moon, and as its name implies, Pig Heaven serves up Cantonese-style suckling pig and roast pork, tender and sweet with crackling skin. The menu also features several Szechuan dishes, such as pork with garlic sauce and braised pigs' feet. Spicy, tangy shredded pigs' ears make a crunchy appetizer, followed by delicate steamed dumplings. Main courses of note include the three-glass chicken or the whole sea bass. |
