Pijiu Belly Restaurant Review:

This unpretentious building got a new lease on life, thanks to its complete renovation and its user-friendly incarnation as a gastropub. Among the founders of two-unit Noodle, Lenny Shou struck out on his own and brings Asian and American flavors together at Pijiu Belly. Mandarin for "beer," the word "pijiu" points to the preferred quaff, while "belly" references what you'll be rubbing when you leave well fed. Rotisserie chicken is the signature dish, but burger fans will want to taste the Pijiu Burger topped with house-made kimchi, a fried egg and barbecue sauce. Coleslaw and German potato salad are good company for this international-themed two-hander. Other adaptations of the burger include a banh mi version. Nibbles range from poutine to yakitori. The restaurant’s list of local brews, prominently displayed on a chalkboard, is among the most complete we’ve seen. There is a wine list, too, but it's not nearly as interesting. After work, grab a brew and throw some darts or step outside to unwind and play a shuffle game.
