This Loudoun County seafood restaurant designed with a rustic décor accommodates not only fish lovers but also meat-eaters who may order a steak or a pork chop. But when you’re faced with a menu that stresses the fresh catch, why not go for your fill of oysters and calamari? Opt for a lighter entrée such as the creative take on cioppino, the San Francisco original, here transformed from seafood stew into a salad of seafood and mixed greens. Pike’s kitchen has come up with assorted seafood specialties that range from miso-glazed salmon to shrimp and grits, but it may be hard to best New Orleans’ oyster po’ boy, and this version gets it right: a soft roll, crispy oysters, and a bed of romaine lettuce leaves. Other sandwiches include a bacon-cheddar burger or one with blackened tuna. Don’t skip desserts like the salted caramel cheesecake brownie. Check out the bar for wines and cocktails.
