Pink's Hot Dogs Restaurant Review

: Pink's has been slinging ripe, bursting-with-flavor beef hot dogs into fresh buns for the hordes of hungry folks who stroll up to its takeout windows longer than almost anyone can remember (more than 75 years). And chances are your favorite megastars ate here when they were younger and new in Tinsel Town, and many continue to drop by in their limousines whenever a craving hits. Orson Welles still holds the record of 18 dogs in a single seating, but one should be enough for an average appetite. We think your first bite into one of the franks, especially when covered with the famous homemade chili, will make you feel like a (well-fed) star, too. Unlike many iconic fast-food joints, the whimsical menu at Pink's is surprisingly extensive, featuring the likes of the Martha Stewart Dog, which is topped with relish, onions, bacon, chopped tomatoes, sauerkraut and sour cream. Rounding out the menu are hamburgers, fries, onion rings and chocolate marble cake or coconut-frosted white cake for dessert. There are plenty of umbrella-shaded tables on the back patio, as well as a few tables inside. Pink's also has other locations both near and far, including the LA County Fair and on the Las Vegas Strip at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

The only thing I don't like is the long wait in line.
Their onion rings gotta be the best I ever tasted. The portions are huge and very reasonable. I had the signature chili cheese dog (10-inch dog with relish, onions, bacon, chopped tomatoes, sauerkraut and sour cream).
The chili-dogs are good and so are the chili-cheese burgers!
I love this place when I'm craving something REALLY greasy!
If you are expecting table cloths and special treatment you won't like "Pinks"
