 This landmark inn in Ivoryton draws diners from all over the state and beyond, thanks to a reputation that precedes it. The elegant setting and impressive service set the tone for a menu founded on traditional French cooking techniques that is now far more adventurous, thanks to the addition of executive chef Tyler Anderson. The updated menu relies on fresh produce, dairy, meats and fish with an eclectic range of choices including sustainable hiramasa with Meyer lemon and pomegranate, veal tenderloin and chicken wings stuffed with foie gras. If formal dining isn't what you seek, take advantage of the Brasserie Pip room, a more casual option that features the same top-shelf menu as well as small plates and five- and seven-course tasting choices.
