Pisco y Nazca Restaurant Review:
The business savvy folks behind Bulla Gastrobar have taken their "Peruvian" concept, Pisco y Nazca, from Kendall to Doral. It’s a good place for a quick lunch, Hora Loca (their version of Happy Hour) or birthday party/big group gathering. Many menu items have been Americanized, such as traditional causa given a panko shrimp (deep-fried) treatment. There are ravioli, though they are filled with aji panca cream, goat cheese, fresh peas and corn. An Angus burger is sandwiched between a pretzel bun with tomato-panca chutney and rocoto pepper aïoli for some Peruvian measure. Go the traditional route with a plethora of ceviches that are available. The chocolate dome, lit afire as it's torched and then caving in before your eyes, is probably the best thing here, and a sweet ending to an otherwise uneventful dining experience.
