Pizzeria Uno Chicago Bar & Grill Restaurant Review: Families and singles gravitate here, but probably for different reasons. The bar area makes for great singles’ bonding; the dining area offers families easy eating with the kids. The menu is geared to be easy on the budget, too, which everyone appreciates. Their lunch specials, served up pronto, make this a perfect destination for quick bites. But if you want to settle down to something, consider one of their deep dish pizzas, a concept created by Pizzeria Uno many decades ago. We love their Chicago classic (the small is more than enough for one), the pie that made them famous. You’ll also find thin-crust pizzas, big sandwiches, pasta dishes, and meaty entrées such as steak, ribs, and chicken Parmesan. Kids have their own menu, with a pizza, of course. And desserts are such all-American sweets as brownies, cheesecake, cake, and apple pie. |
