Polar Bar Restaurant Review:

This lounge at the beautifully restored The Arctic Club Seattle hotel harkens back to when this historic circa-1916 building was home to a social club of men who struck it rich in the Klondike gold rush. Icy blue glass glows underneath the bar, giving off a glacial feel. Take a seat on one of the stools or on the leather couches in front of the fireplace. Bartender extraordinaire Viktor Kustov whips up classic cocktails like the Old Fashioned, Sazerac and Corpse Reviver #2, while food comes courtesy of the hotel's Juno restaurant. Happy hour is offered on weekdays from 3 p.m.-6 p.m. with half-price bar bites plus drink specials. The Polar Bar can be reserved for weddings, game nights and other events --- there are blue velvet drapes that can be pulled to provide privacy from the adjoining lobby.
