Polleria Tres Amigos Restaurant Review:
Lacking charm and lush décor, this little eatery nonetheless offers notable Salvadoran food, with big pupusas oozing hot cheese and pork; the Honduran version of a burrito, called a baleada; and glistening roasted chicken pieces plus steak and pork ribs. If that weren’t enough to stoke your appetite, you can start your day off with a Salvadoran breakfast, consisting of scrambled eggs, mashed beans and fried plantains. As an added appeal, you can overeat for well under $15, making this one of Rockville’s most budget-conscious destinations.
