| This fab fast food spot is giving the Colonel a run for his money. Inside, shimmy-worthy Latin tunes are cranked, and a salsa bar with roasted chipotle and molcajete verde salsas, limes, cilantro, chopped onions and zingy jalapeños serves as ground zero for topping spicy fried birds, which regulars lovingly tear from the bone and wrap in warm corn tortillas. If you're in the mood for something a bit lighter, try the citrus-infused grilled chicken. Sides are out of the ordinary too. Be sure to try the sweet, caramelized plantains, cilantro- and bacon-flecked pinto beans and lime-laced Campero coleslaw. |
