THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Polo Club Restaurant Review:
You dont have to play polo-the horse variety-to eat here, but you might appreciate the décor if you know the sport a bit. The restaurant strives for the look of a British polo club, as the name implies, with lots of brick and wood. One room in particular has a lot of polo memorabilia-jerseys, mallets, helmets, pictures of horses and players. The wooden booths and bar in the adjacent room suggest a bit of the friendly atmosphere TVs Cheers. The restaurant will appeal to more than just polo pony riders: Its quite upscale, with a strolling violinist or a strolling guitarist often roaming around the dining areas. A live band in the adjacent bistro plays jazz or rhythm and blues. The menu features steaks, salmon and chicken. A mesquite wood grill provides flavor to a number of meat and fish wood-fired entrées.
