PortaBella Restaurant Review: PortaBella offers Mediterranean fare in a relaxing garden setting with flagstone floors and graceful arched ceilings. The vegetarian tartina alla PortaBella was the best sandwich --- with or without meat --- we've had in a while, with savory portobello mushrooms and tangy goat cheese piled on pillowy pizza bread. Another house specialty is the Basque-style scampi atop saffron risotto. Linger over a glass of wine chosen from the abundant and varied list of California gems.
