Shoppers who need to refuel, crowd this Somerset Collection bistro to enjoy light Italian cuisine that is several cuts above the typical food-court fare. The spirited décor features stylized mushrooms hanging from the ceiling and posing as eccentric toadstools, OK, barstools. Tables spill out into the mall atrium, providing an ideal setting for people-watching. Portobellos figure prominently on the menu, also. Notable are a grilled portobello salad, a wild mushroom bisque and a grilled portobello sandwich with pesto aïoli on homemade ciabatta. For non-fungi-lovers, the kitchen offers a tasty rock shrimp and sausage pizza, a spinach Alfredo lasagna and a scrumptious Maine lobster ravioli with vegetable ratatouille. The fresh fish entrées also are a good bet, as befits all of Matt Prentice’s popular and imaginative restaurants.
