| Located in a historic building in Ballard, this romantic, brick-walled wine bar offers a charming setting for enjoying wines by the glass or for sharing a bottle from the extensive wine list. One of Seattle's first wine bars, Portalis is known for its happy hour special---buy one glass, and pay half-price for the next one. There's a varietal to please every palate, and the food is wine-oriented with a least one hot entrée offered daily. Charcuterie plates feature a house-made pâté, and soups and salads are available. The on-site wine shop also sells bottles from the menu. |
