Porter's is great for die-hard sports fans, those who can sit mesmerized by full-screen TV football for hours on end. Housed in a former fancy French eatery in a made-over townhouse, Porter's has the dark, boozy feel of a gent's bar and the smokiness to match. Not surprisingly, its menu keys in to the sporting and dating mood: Look for quesadillas and chili, burgers and crab cakes with filet (its version of surf 'n' turf), and hot dogs and turkey clubs.
