Praline Bakery & Restaurant Restaurant Review: Tucked away in one of DC’s more obscure shopping centers, this little slice of Paris on the Potomac works like an enchanting magnet for all the young moms with kids in tow and time and appetite on their hands. In other words, this place is jam-packed at lunch. Praline is also a “ladies-who-lunch” spot with its chic sandwiches, burgers and delicate salads. But wait until you see the pastries and other baked items on the first level. Not only does the staff custom-pack lunches to go, but they stock the glass cases with so many baked-goodie calories that diets fly right out the window. |
