Prime Restaurant Restaurant Review: Prime offers more than just prime views, though its location on Huntington Harbor is impressive and permits seasonal dockside dining. Skip the salads and sail straight into the shrimp and lobster wontons, served with a hoisin glaze. Unique rolls from the sushi menu, like the Tornado Roll with shrimp, avocado, eel sauce and fried potato, make good appetizers to share. Seafood fans have their choice of pan-seared Atlantic salmon, served with squash and cranberry wild rice, while carnivores should opt for the Colorado lamb rack. The dessert menu is plentiful, and it's hard to sail off course with the sorbet, which comes in unique flavors like pomegranate, green apple and lemon. For something sweeter, try the peanut butter and chocolate fondue accompanied by dippers like rich brownies, pound cake, apple and banana slices, and house-made marshmallows. Alongside one of the multiple digestifs and dessert wines, a meal at Prime comes to a sweet end. |
