The South of Market area provides some of the most reliable odds for a sunny, if not balmy, experience. Just as the restaurant’s name suggests, this long-running, Caribbean-inspired, family-operated restaurant lays claim to a casual and, on most days, packed back patio. Warm weather food completes the experience. Tender jerk chicken balances sweet and bitter spices with just a hint of heat. A red snapper sandwich comes with a pile of spicy fries. A friendly and well-intentioned staff can be overwhelmed at peak hours, so be prepared to linger over a Buli Buli cocktail-beer mixed with lime sugar and ice. |
