THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Profusion Restaurant Review: This upscale restaurant has set up residence in the new International Plaza shopping center. Patterned after the original Profusion, which has held forth in Montreal for 20 years, and one in Boston, owners Chuck and Hazel Mah have designed a restaurant to appeal to the casual shopper and the dedicated diner. Appetizers include Hunan dumplings in a spicy sesame-peanut sauce, and Atlantic salmon tartare. There is Szechuan hot and sour soup with lily buds and shiitake mushrooms, and Vietnamese seafood rice noodle soup with fresh basil, cilantro and lime. Choose from entrées such as three-mushroom risotto (with fresh lemon and parsley sauce) or General Taos chicken, patterned after the classic 19th century recipe of sun-dried chilies and ginger over sesame soba noodles.
