THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Provi Provi Restaurant Review

: Would we go here if we weren’t kosher? Not sure, but nevertheless, Provi Provi provides a much needed community service. Here is decent Italian kosher food in a pleasant environment and not exorbitantly priced. The most popular seats are in the glass-enclosed sidewalk cafĂ©. Our advice is to make a delicious meal out of the antipasti and salads and the good focaccia. Insalata del Contadina is delightful---a marinated salad of tomatoes, asparagus, string beans and new potatoes. The griglia del cuoco is mushroom, eggplant, tomato, zucchini, pepper and carrots grilled up in a credible marinade. For pastas, keep to the basics such as the spicy penne ala vodka or the hearty lasagna.
