PT's Gold Restaurant Review:

When Joe Romano, who honed his skills as the chef of upscale restaurants like Charlie Palmer's Aureole at Mandalay Bay, became corporate executive chef for PT's Entertainment Group, he raised the bar for the company's pubs. Table seating at the Sunset Road location affords a view of the Strip and airport runways. In each of the valley's PT's Gold eateries, the centerpiece is the massive bar, where guests enjoy beer and well drinks, televised sports and hearty fare. PT's is the king of wings and sauces, offering traditional wings, boneless wings, chicken fingers and popcorn shrimp that can be tossed in any of 20 creative sauces. Among sandwiches, the New Yorker with pastrami, roast beef, corned beef, provolone, Swiss, pepper jack cheese, coleslaw and Thousand Island on marbled rye is a winner. The roasted red pepper and artichoke white pizza with diced tomatoes and goat cheese is another favorite. Save room for the pub's signature Zookie --- a giant chocolate chip cookie attractively presented in an iron skillet and topped with vanilla ice cream and chocolate and caramel sauces.
