Pumpkin Restaurant Review: Here's a charming BYOB lighting up the street with the enthusiasm of its young owners. The tiny dining room with makeshift décor works, as does the daily-changing menu offering dishes such as escargots with cassoulet beans and porcini, braised pork belly with celeriac and maple, and pumpkin risotto with spiced mascarpone. Dessert might be butterscotch pudding with gingersnap and rum raisin, or goat's milk cheesecake with Meyer lemon, almond and huckleberry. A $40 five-course Sunday dinner crafted with locally sourced products is a steal. |
