Pupatella Neapolitan Pizzeria Restaurant Review

: This small and inconspicuous pizzeria gets jam-packed at most mealtimes. There is table service of a sort, but only after the customer stands in line and places an order. Then they pick a number and a table and can relax with friends, waiting for one of several Neapolitan treats. Starters include two different arancini (fried rice balls): one set stuffed with sausage and mozzarella, and the other with eggplant and mozzarella. But rather than overeating on starters, focus on the pizzas. Choices are enticing; we recommend the burrata pizza with pine nuts and cherry tomatoes. Meat eaters may opt for the chorizo pie or the meatball version with ricotta and mozzarella. Patrons are also invited to create their own pizzas or sandwiches, but are limited to four toppings. There’s a kids’ menu, too, and limited dessert and wine selections. Although take-out is available, the pizzas with their pillowy crusts are ideal just out of the oven.
