"Top Chef" alum Paul Qui of Uchiko and East Side King opened qui in 2013. The tasting menus, one for vegetarians and one for carnivores change daily. Expect creative interpretations of Asian fare, such as albacore seared on binchotan and served with cilantro, ume miso and blossoms. Desserts feature ingredients like coconut fig caramel and goat milk ice cream. Qui also offers a Filipino à la carte menu on a first-come, first-served basis on the outdoor patio.
