THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Quilty's Restaurant Review:

Quilty’s is named for Nabokov’s famous enigmatic character in Lolita, and the restaurant’s only real adornments, mounted butterflies in glass frames---in honor of the author’s obsession with the flying insects---surprisingly create a homey, rather than creepy, feel. While the theme is a tad contrived, though quite appealingly executed, award-winning executive chef Katy Sparks is very talented, and we respect her elaborate preparations. How about her signature oysters in a Gewürztraminer cream for a starter? Sparks is big on potatoes, so you can expect things like twice-baked or goat-cheese-filled potatoes. Fish and meat get equal treatment here; peppered tuna is expertly cooked and unusual options, like buffalo, are done well. A relaxing treat is the relatively quiet brunch.
