THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Ran-Getsu of Tokyo Restaurant Review:

Ran-Getsu has been a fixture on busy International Drive since 1986. The sprawling restaurant is lushly landscaped and features distinct Japanese architecture, but the 300-seat dining room is nothing fancy. Near the convention center, diners on expense accounts do not mind the pricey entrées including premium Kobe beef imported from Japan. And even if you do not love Asian cuisine, Ran-Getsu serves some of the freshest Florida seafood, including fried gator tail, grouper, red snapper and shrimp. Organic chicken and pork nicely round out the menu. While tourists flock to the sushi bar, the menu also includes authentic Japanese dishes such as sukiyaki (where that premium Kobe beef sizzles for $50 per person); shabu-shabu (thinly sliced sirloin in broth); and yosenabe (a sort of bouillabaisse with seafood, but also chicken and duck). A modest wine list includes saké and plum wine.
