THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Rancho La Lena Restaurant Review:

Old Town, the land of tourists and Mexican restaurants, features more than enough places at which to find standard tacos and burritos. What we like about Rancho La Lena are the freshly made tortillas, rolled and baked by a woman working at an oven near the entrance to the umbrella-shaded terrace. These tasty breads serve a galaxy of purposes, from accompaniments to the restaurant’s specialty soups, such as the zesty shrimp-filled caldo de camarones, to wrappers for enchiladas, to bases for such dishes as the tostada loca, a giant fried tortilla shell piled with beans, lettuce, cheese, sour cream, guacamole and either beef or chicken. The efficient waitresses wear colorful traditional costumes.
