| Fun and funky, Ranchos Cocina is the type of Mexican restaurant that appeals to just about everyone. Whether you crave carne asada with refried beans or prefer vegan-style blue corn avocado enchiladas, Ranchos can fill your order. We like the wide range of menu items, everything from soy chorizo quesadilla to steak ranchero to homemade mango ice cream. The atmosphere is festive; the colorful walls are adorned with historic photos and rustic artwork. The staff is efficient, friendly and always nice to children. We like the blueberry-buttermilk flapjacks with turkey sausages and the chilaquiles with tofu for breakfast. For lunch or dinner, try the seafood chile relleno with a black bean-shrimp tostada or the lobster burrito---both taste great with a cold glass of honey-ginger limonada. |
